Fancy a relaxing holiday by beautiful, sandy beaches, with some culture and sightseeing right on your doorstep?  Or, do you want to experience something different, such as paragliding, rafting, sailing, diving or mountain bike riding?  Whatever takes your fancy, Turkey will not disappoint.

Whichever of our turkey airport transfers you book, clicktransfers.com will be there to meet and escort you and your luggage, hassle free, to your accommodation. But, before you travel, please ensure that you have at least three months remaining on your passport, otherwise you might not be able to gain entry.

The capital of Turkey is Ankara and is situated in the centre of the country. An important and industrial city it is famous for Angora goats, (mohair), Angora cats, Angora rabbits, and muscat grapes, amongst other things.  Steeped in history, it has many archaeological sites to visit, so if you want to get the most out of your visit to Ankara, buy a guide book before you leave for your holiday and swot up on the places most of interest to you.

Whilst you?re in Turkey, if you plan to visit any mosques, please take off your shoes before entering.  Ladies should cover their heads, shoulders and bare legs.  But if not properly dressed dont worry, most mosques will lend you some attire, free of charge.

The largest city in Turkey is Istanbul, which straddles the Bosphorus ? where Europe meets Asia. Apart from the mosques and other religious venues to visit, don?t miss the Dolmabahce Palace. With a fabulous interior, a crystal staircase, throne room with a 4 ton crystal chandelier and alabaster baths.

The Egyptian Bazaar is the place to try the local delicacies, such as honeycomb, Turkish delight, nuts, pastries, spices and cheese and don?t forget to buy your coffee beans here.  The Grand Bazaar is where you can buy everything else ? souvenirs, chess sets, carpets, handbags, leather goods, clothing, etc.,etc.  But, if you want to buy anything, haggle very, very hard.

One of the most popular attractions in Istanbul is the Miniaturk which is situated on the north east shore of the Golden Horn, the natural harbour.  One hundred and five of Turkey?s most famous sights are recreated in miniature in amazing detail.  This is definitely one not to miss and is an excellent day out for children too.

If you have a Turkey airport transfers to one of the resorts on the Mediterranean coast you?ll be going to either Alanya, which is close to the Taurus Mountains, with a castle, and not too far from the Damlatas Caves;  Belek, where many of the hotels have their own private beaches, with the opportunity to go scuba diving, white-water rafting , or play a round or two of golf; Dalyan (which is mainly undeveloped), but visit the nearby Iztuzu beach and see the loggerhead turtles in their natural habitat, thermal springs and mud baths, and wetlands with a variety of wildlife and birds.

Marmaris is busy, there are markets galore selling fake designer goods, but also time to enjoy a whole host of water activities or perhaps a horse safari into the nearby villages. Oludeniz has possibly the best beaches on the Med.  Backed by the Taurus mountains, it has wonderful grey-white sandy bays and coves running into the turquoise sea, and a crystal clear lagoon.  There isnt too much nightlife, but there are some good restaurants offering international cuisine.

If you want a reasonably quiet holiday, head for Kalkan.  Its a small, unspoiled resort, mainly hassle free, but with good restaurants and bars to while away the evening.

On the South Aegean sea, Bodrum is probably Turkey?s most famous resort. One of our Turkey airport transfers typically costs around £7.09 per person to get to Bodrum. With many shops and markets, and a chance to enjoy some fresh seafood.

Izmir is the third largest city in Turkey. It is a busy port and commercial center, but still remains a holiday resort.  Tree lined promenades along which to enjoy an evening stroll or a ride in a horse-drawn carriage.  The mountains make a wonderful back drop for the city and from the top of the hill at Halil Rifat Pasa you can marvel at the stunning views across the bay.

All in all, Turkey has much to offer, something to suit nearly everyone.  Have fun!
